We are all getting very excited for our upcoming trip to Peru. I am undoubtedly nervous but new pieces fall into place each day. Yesterday we applied for the kids' passports and today we were able to confirm spots for the children in school. The school cycle is different so Ruby will be attending the second half of kindergarten. That combined with the all Spanish speaking classes may prove a bit daunting at first but we're aiming to push her a bit since she is such a bright girl. The great thing will be to have both of them in the same school - their separation each morning is difficult on them both. Felix will be starting at his very first school and he's such a social animal, no doubt he will do great and will be completely unimpressed by the Spanish since his nanny and David speak Spanish to him. And he has so few words now anyway!... although the word count is rapidly growing.
The to do list is quite overwhelming but we'll chip away at it. Flights are the next big one. Frequent Flyer miles are useless. We may just have to bite the bullet.
